Richard Warburton is a founding partner in Kay and Warburton. With over 16 years experience working in the film and television industry, Richard has gained a thorough understanding of its complex tax, accounting and finance issues. Richard has written several papers and spoken frequently about Canadian Federal and Provincial tax credits and corporate and personal tax as it relates to producers, cast and crew in the industry. He also provides his services to several charities and non-profits including Hot Docs, the Feature Film Project and Contact Toronto Photography Festival.
Richard is a graduate of the Business School at the University of Western Ontario. He articled at Deloitte and Touche, obtaining his Chartered Accountant designation in 1990.
