Andrew Kay is a partner and co-founder of Kay & Warburton. As a result of providing financial and business advisory services exclusively to the Entertainment industry for the last 19 years, Andrew has developed expertise in the specialized tax and reporting requirements of the industry in Canada including federal and provincial tax credits available for Canadian content and non-Canadian content productions, production audits, financial statement reporting and corporate tax planning. In addition, Andrew has consulted and provided due diligence on the feasibility of potential acquisitions, corporate restructurings and mergers. He provides his services to both domestic and foreign producers, federal and provincial agencies, non-profit enterprises, lending institutions, investors and cast and crew. Andrew earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with honours from York University in 1986 and obtained his Chartered Accountant designation in 1988. Andrew is a frequent participant at film and television financing conferences both in Canada and abroad as well as at information sessions for lending institutions and funding agencies.
